CHANGED BILLING POLICY

FROM THE 1st July 2022

Over the past 2 years, costs to run medical services have increased considerably. Medicare rebates have not increased in line with inflation although everything else has increased significantly in price.

Until now we have been absorbing the costs, however, in order to keep our service sustainable and still be able to maintain high standards of care. We have made the decision to change some of our billings.

All patients (including those who have a concession card) will pay an out-of-pocket fee for some services (For fee information, go to fees on our webpage or call reception on 8381 5088).

Bulk billing of consults will continue to be available for:

  • Healthcare card holders
  • Pension card holders
  • DVA Gold card holders &
  • Children under 16yrs

Private out of pocket charges are applicable to:

  • INR
  • Mental Health Care Plans
  • Procedures (including Cryotherapy) &
  • Wound care/Dressings

PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO BE BULK BILLED and follow our practice policies.

If you would like to move your records due to our changed Billing Policy, we are happy to transfer your records to a practice of your liking without an extra admin fee (valid till 31st Oct 2022 ).
