BOOKINGS & APPOINTMENTS
You can make an appointment with your doctor by phoning the surgery (during business hours), via the Booking button (on our website) or via the Hotdoc website (Privacy Policy) or App .
Longer appointments are available if necessary please advise reception staff if you think this may be needed.
WALK IN APPOINTMENTS:
We require patients to make an appointment to see their GP, however we understand that there are times when a problem presents itself whilst in the area.
Walk in patients with urgent matters will be triaged and seen to by an available GP.
URGENT TRIAGING:
Urgent appointments will be triaged by our reception staff or nurse on duty. Urgent appointments will be seen by the first available GP.

NON ATTENDANCE/CANCELLATIONS:
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify the clinic at least 3 hours prior, so we can make that time available to another patient.
A non-refundable/non Medicare claimable fee will be issued, If you fail to attend or cancel your appointment without sufficient notice.
TRANSLATOR SERVICE:
Our practice encourages patients to utilise the free Translating and Interpreting Service.
To book an interpreter. Please phone 131 450 or go to www.tisnational.gov.au at least 24hrs before your scheduled appointment.
AFTER HOURS SERVICE:
If you require non urgent medical care out of hours. We encourage you to use the services below for your after-hours care:

RESULTS:
Results can be accessed by our reception or practice nurse once a comment of action has been left by your doctor.
If you would prefer to speak to your doctor about your results, please make an appointment.
You should be able to receive most results within 24-48 hours of your tests.
Your doctor will contact you if you are required to return urgently.
Make sure your details are up to date with reception.
LOCUM MEDICAL OFFICERS:
It is necessary from time to time to employ Medical staff to cover certain times at the surgery when we are remarkably busy and when our regular doctors are on leave.
These doctors are chosen very carefully to continue the high standards of medical care we offer in our practice.
RECALLS:
A recall system is offered to all our patients for several medical reasons. You may receive a letter, phone call or SMS.
Your doctor may inform you that they wish you to be on a recall for a particular reason.
If you do not wish to receive this service, please advise our reception, nurse, or your doctor.
We make use of the National reminder systems for cervical screening, immunisation register and National Bowel Screening program.
MY HEALTH RECORD:
This clinic is registered for My Health Record. This is the National Digital Health record system.
Having a My Health Record means your important information like allergies, medical conditions, and treatments, medication’s, tests or scan reports can be digitally available in one place.
Health Care Providers like Doctors, Specialist and hospital staff may be able to see it online from anywhere at any time when they need. Especially in an accident or emergency.
