Fees charges and rebates
NEW FEES
On the 1st of December 2022 we became a predominantly private billing practice. This means there may be an out of pocket cost for all patients including concession and pension card holders.
Why have we decided to become a private billing practice?
Over the past 3 years, costs to run medical services have increased considerably. Medicare rebates have not increased in line with inflation although everything else has increased significantly in price.
We have been absorbing the costs, however, in order to keep our service sustainable and still be able to maintain high standards of care. We have made the decision to change to a private billing clinic.
Bulk billing will continue to be available for:
- DVA Gold card holders &
- Children 15yrs and under
- Careplans
- Aged Health Assessments
- Government funded vaccinations
- Certain other services at Dr’s discretion
PLEASE follow our practice policies. We thank you for your understanding and aim to continue delivering our quality standard of care.
If you would like to move your records due to our changed Billing Policy, we are happy to transfer your records to a practice of your liking (a fee may apply).
